Prior Learning Credit Transfer
ACT online programs are approved by the American Council on Education (ACE). American Council on Education (ACE) approval allows ACT students to earn up to 6 college credits from participating academic organizations, helping to fast-track their postsecondary degrees.
Through ACE accreditation, ACT is paving the way for educational institutions to create flexible student learning pathways. These pathways enable students to receive academic credit for prior professional training, including ACT’s CCMA program, and integrate these credits into degree programs.
How it works
1. Student enrolls in an ACE-approved ACT course.
2. Student completes the course at their own pace, on ACT’s fully online platform.
3. ACT provides the student with an official transcript upon course completion.
4. Student submits the transcript to your institution for evaluation.
5. Prior learning credit is applied toward the student’s degree program.
